Durante la semana larguita que va del miércoles 23 de febrero al viernes 4 de marzo estará disponible la convocatoria del proyecto: Incremento de la productividad del cultivo de cacao a través de la renovación y establecimiento de un sistema agroforestal en el departamento, una iniciativa del Gobierno departamental a través de la Secretaría de Agricultura y la Oficina de las Naciones Unidas contra la Droga y el Delito en Colombia, UNODC.
“Este es un proyecto que se planifica para la renovación de 1.100 hectáreas y la plantación de 100 hectáreas nuevas de cacao en la línea del departamento como primer productor de cacao en todo el país”, afirmó el secretario de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, Sebastián Villabona Dávila.
Esta iniciativa pretende impactar a 1.200 familias de pequeños productores en 23 municipios de Santander, a través de la renovación de cultivos envejecidos de cacao y siembras nuevas del aromático fruto bajo sistemas agroforestales.
Según Villabona Dávila, con una “inversión de más de 3.400 millones se pretende que todos los productores cacaoteros con cacao envejecido, se postulen en la URL dispuesta por la Gobernación de Santander y en las diferentes alcaldías de los municipios seleccionados para ser beneficiarios de este proyecto”.
Para inscribirse a la convocatoria, los productores deberán ingresar al link https://arcg.is/1Tem90 en donde se encuentran todos los requisitos para aplicar a la convocatoria y llenar un formulario con sus datos personales. Además, deben anexar copia legible de la cédula de ciudadanía, certificado de libertad y tradición con fecha de expedición menor a noventa 90 días, y certificado de Sisbén.
Para resolver las dudas de los participantes se habilitó el correo agricultura@santander.gov.co y también podrán comunicarse con los encargados en las alcaldías municipales quienes están informados sobre el proceso de la convocatoria.
